Monika

Monika discovered her love for music in the 1990s in post-communist Poland. While listening to socially engaged punk rock, she realized that music could evoke emotions, carry a message, and, most importantly, bring people together. Over the years, Monika expanded her musical horizons, and her numerous travels around the world opened her heart to the ethnic diversity of music, instruments, and sounds. Since a few years Monika now lives in Belgium with her Partner Marec (EMKA) and becomes more and more active as a DJ. She feeds the audience with very groovy and energetic tech-house. Her sets are touchy, and undoubtedly make you dance your heart out! Monika has a kind heart of herself: She is the co-founder of The Loft Belgium, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for shelter animals through music events under the Dance For Shelters banner. The idea was born from her love for both music and animals.
