Tokyo, London, Rio De Janeiro, New York, Ibiza, San Francisco and Paris... name any place and David Fouquaert has more than likely already performed there. Iconic clubs and legendary festival stages around the world have been rocked several times: from Glastonbury in the UK and Tomorrowland to the MTV European Music Awards afterparty in Madrid. David Fouquaert's CV is long and impressive. As the driving force behind the duo Mo&Benoelie, later The Glimmers, he toured the world. But the duo also enjoyed great fame in their own country. He contributed to dozens of successful DJ mix albums for both domestic and foreign labels including Eskimo Recordings, Blue Note records and !K7 Records. A number of his own productions appeared on self-published compilation albums, such as The Glimmers Are Gee Gee Fazzi (2008). The Glimmers' last studio album to date was released in 2010: Whomp That Sucker. A plethora of official remixes were also realized for a very diverse group of artists such as The Killers, Chemical Brothers, Shirley Bassey, New Order, Roxy Music, Snow Patrol, Phoenix and Airplane. In 2013, David also opened Belgium's first DJ school. Benoelie lives for music. His record collection is nothing short of awe-inspiring. His DJ skills are second to none. He closed the riverside stage as headliner at the previous edition with a fantastic set and will do so again this year. This man will make you dance!
