iRiS

iRis loves to play. eCleCTic.  She mixes a diversity of electronic genres fueled by broken rhythms and percussion in search of flow. In live sets she likes to explore the energy present, draw a path to hopefully come together in chaos. iRiS combines self produced sounds with existing music. iRiS is a value in her city of birth, Ghent. For many years she kept the bar ‘Het Volkshuis’, where dancing till the early hours was no exception. Her love for nightlife has since developed into creating and performing. People having experienced her performances know that ‘hopefully come together' is an understatement out of a modest description of her own and just danced their asses off, leaving more eclectic themselves, in the morning.
