Jochen Robberecht embarked on his musical journey in 1994, a time when the Belgian club scene was at its peak and vinyl reigned supreme. His passion lay in pure beat mixing, his hands gliding seamlessly over the decks, driven by an insatiable hunger for rhythm and energy. By 1998, he had embraced the hypnotic flow of progressive trance, carrying him deep into the heart of Belgian’s nightlife. His residencies were numerous, but La Bush in 2003... that was magic. A temple, a family, a home. But music moves, shifts, evolves. When the techno and Tech House era took over in 2008, Jochen felt the pull of raw, driving beats but Never left the roots from before. He rode this new wave and immersed himself in production. EP’s like ‘La Beauté du Dégout ‘(2014, Night and Day Ibiza Music) and his 2018 release on Black Beard. Records showcased his evolution, his relentless search for the essence of sound. In 2024, he unleashed Medusa Maze EP on Lockerroom Audio, backed by the legendary Diki Records-a moment of pure euphoria. Medusa Maze was released on the first Medusa Outdoor Vinyl Collector, A twelve track double vinyl masterpiece compiled by the two residents of Medusa. Since 2005, Jochen has been one of the driving forces behind Medusa Concept, a residency that has taken him to new heights. For 10 years, he has steered Medusa Outdoor, with Suprising closing Sets , guiding generations on a sonic journey without limits. Music has always been his compass. And the night? It remains infinite
